- While I see absolutely nothing wrong with little girls dressing up like princesses and playing out fairytales, I think this is a great way to teach children about historical figures, too. To each their own, I say! :)

- I have worked for my company from home for 7 years and they were by far way more productive than when I worked in an office. If someone's job lends itself to being able to work from home, then they should be able to. Less distraction (believe it or not) and far more productivity.

- This poor woman clearly had severe emotional issues before this. It's sad all around, but it was most certainly not the fault of the DJ's playing a harmless prank. The nurse made a mistake - that is all.

- Glen, exactly!!! I cannot tell you how many times I see people hide their devices until the flight attendants walk away and then play angry birds or listen to their iPod during takeoff and landing. It's a joke.

- I won't even sit down at a loud restaurant. I like to go out to eat with friends or family to enjoy conversation and good food, not to scream at each other and then give up and eat in silence because no one can hear each other.

Questions & Answers

Is 5 too old for a pacifier?
Yes
- I never bought a pacifier because I didn't want this very issue. Someone gave her one and she refused it, much to my relief. I threw it out immediately. If we HAD used a pacifier, I'd have thrown it out the day she turned 1, if not sooner.
- Ultimately this isn't news. I do think kids older than 1 look utterly ridiculous with a pacifier in their mouths.
Silent birth: Maybe not so crazy?
Crazy. Moms need encouragement in the delivery room.
- I leave it up to the mother. If she wants coaching / noise / music / whatever, then great. If not, then keep it quiet. Neither is wrong.
- I was induced and during delivery I had music playing, just to have background noise and to occasionally distract me.
Do you nag your kids about finishing their meals?
No
- I refuse to force my child to be a member of "the clean plate club". I watched too many friends deal with that. No thanks.
How many hours of television do you let your kids watch?
Fewer than four hours a day.
- My daughter is four and watches roughly 2 hours per day of tv on non-school days and about an hour on school days.
Do you think the Katy Perry video is too risque for 'Sesame Street'?
No
- As usual the uptight, panties-in-a-wad people ruin it for the rest of the real world. Grow up.
Should restaurants have the right to ban 'screaming children'?
Yes
- As both a parent and a waitress, I am ALL for this! I'm disgusted by parents and their obnoxious, out of control kids.

Maybe. There are certainly negative aspects, but it’s hard to make a sweeping generalization.

Yes. She was right to fight for her kids, even if they would rather stay with their father.
- Of COURSE she should have! Kidnapping is ILLEGAL.
Do you think vaccines are related to autism?
No. There is no scientific evidence the two things are related.
