Back to sleep, and back off: Classes teach grandparents new rules of raising kids
Mon May 5, 2014
In reply to: Professional/Conservative #10 My daughter had a walker, and she loved the thing, and so did I. It kept her entertained for hours, and gave her little leg muscles a workout. No idea why "they" say it's a no-no, but fortunately I ignored "them".
Keanu Reeves 'open' to 'Bill

Count me in! I'd go see it!
Jenna Wolfe: Yes, I have 5 million baby photos. Got a problem with that?
Wed Nov 27, 2013
Good for Jenna... I, too, took (and still take) thousands of photos of my daughter. She's 7 now and we have dozens upon dozens of photo albums. She loves to pore through them and talk about when she was a baby, etc. And I have over 10k photos on FaceBook. I figure if my frien …
Kanye West is done with President Obama
Tue Nov 19, 2013
Lucky Obama. I wish the rest of us could be done with Kanye West.
Lululemon co-founder apologizes for comment about women's thighs
Wed Nov 13, 2013
Call me crazy but I don't get why he is apologizing? He's right. Some clothes aren't made for some body-types. That's just how it is. If one style doesn't fit, go buy a different brand.
Kate Hudson 'can't afford' high-end fashions
Wed Nov 13, 2013
Good for her for making (IMHO) a smart choice. School tuition and family SHOULD come first, and it's nice to hear that a celeb isn't blowing obscene amounts of money on clothes she'll wear once. Makes complete sense to borrow an outfit - it becomes a win for the designer and a win for he …
B for brunch! NY restaurant cleverly hides inspection grade
Fri Nov 1, 2013
I can sympathize. I work for a restaurant and we were marked down on our latest inspection because the lid to the garbage dumpster outside was open. Might I add that we are in a strip-mall, so there are 9 other businesses that use that same dumpster. While health inspections are d …
Term pregnancy now defined as at least 39 weeks
Tue Oct 22, 2013
Same experience here! Wouldn't change a thing about it! It's not a one-size-fits-all, but it was the right decision for us!
Pregnant politician sparks debate over seat-offering etiquette
Fri Oct 18, 2013
When I was seven months pregnant, I was in a crowded restaurant waiting area. No one stood up to allow me to sit down. Finally a space opened up and I sat. Shortly thereafter, a man with a broken leg came in on crutches. No one stood up for him, so I did. The lack of c …
Lady Gaga: Instagram is worried about me
Thu Oct 17, 2013
I don't see why she would mock Instagram (if that's what she did)... she should be grateful that someone cared enough to get worried, ya know?
